A multicultural beauty pageant in Dublin recently brought together contestants, community representatives and cultural performers for an event focused on both personal achievement and social responsibility.

Approximately 450 people attended the Dublin programme, where 24 contestants representing seven nations presented their cultures, talents and personal messages.

The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland.

Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Some participants completed all fourteen educational modules, demonstrating that their preparation went beyond the traditional pageant format.

The Ireland Mayor of South Dublin praised the contestants for using their public platform to promote informed choices and stronger communities.

The pageant was accompanied by a diverse cultural programme featuring dancers from several community organisations.

The principal title was awarded to Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer who holds a master’s degree in AI. The other leading awards went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin.

The pageant showed that public events can celebrate talent and diversity while also addressing important social concerns. Further background appears in the article covering the Dublin pageant promoting culture, leadership and drug awareness.
